Don’t miss the angel-assisted annual Thru-Hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail and help raise money for maintenance of this iconic Lake Tahoe trail.
It’s 14 days of pure bliss, or the closest you can get to it by hiking 165 miles along the crest of Lake Tahoe. The TRTA Annual Thru Hike trip will take place in August and September each summer.
The best part about this organized trip is the support by “trail angels”. Trail Angels are volunteers and staff members that appear every 2 to 3 days with food, fuel and water (if needed). They even take out your trash which equals lighter packs and happier campers!
The Thru Hike is life-changing and has left many with life-long memories and great friendships. This event is also the TRTA’s largest fund raising effort, and the fee from each participant directly contributes to the education, outreach and programs that are offered each year.
Space is limited! Registration is now available online for the Thru Hike at www.tahoerimtrail.org.
