Experience the beauty that fall offers in Lake Tahoe on this full moon hike at Brockway Vista on September 26, 2015. We will begin our trek watching the sunset and the moon rise as we hike up to a stunning vista that will wind through a beautiful wooded forest. Expect a casually paced hike for all ages. Don’t worry, we’ll have headlamps on standby!
The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 165-mile, twenty-four inch, single-track trail open to hiking, equestrians, and mountain biking (in most areas). The trail encompasses the ridge tops of the Lake Tahoe Basin, crossing six counties, and two states. The Tahoe Rim Trail overlaps with approximately fifty miles of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
To introduce us to this amazing trail in our backyard (or above it), volunteer guides host free hikes year round.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to sign-up for these hikes call the TRTA office at (775) 298-0012 or click here.
