The Pedal There cycling program is designed to encourage all of us to pledge to ride our bikes more often. Every day. Besides, there are so many benefits like improving fitness and mental health, and reducing our impact on the environment by lowering carbon emissions, fuel consumption and traffic.

FAT BOTTOM GIRLS
All-girl mountain bike rides. Your chance to ride like a girl. Come out and ride with your girlfriends and connect with other great ladies. Fat Bottom Girls…You Makin’ the Rockin’ World Go Round! SYD’S TUESDAY NIGHT CRUISER RALLIES: Tuesday nights
Does the road to happiness have a bike path on it? It does if you’re riding with the Syd’s crew on Tuesday Night! Meet at the Factory Bike Shop at the entrance to Squaw Valley and ride to Syd’s in Tahoe City. Once you’re at Syd’s enjoy music and $2 fish tacos all night. Ride starts at 5pm, bring your headlight and flashing taillight.
RIDE HIGH ON THE FLY: Bi-monthly
Bi-monthly twilight bike rides down the Truckee River for adventures in fly-fishing. The size of the group depends on how many guides are available so contact Doug Childers at Doug@Truckeeriverangler.com and check out Shifting Gears on Facebook for more details . Fly-fishing equipment available!
BOBBI’S FARMERS MARKET RIDE ALONG: Thursdays
Join Bobbi for amazing weekly rides to the Farmers’ Market in Tahoe City, leaving from Incline Village. Rides will leave at 9am from Village Sports Loft in Incline Village and end at the Thursdays Farmers Market in Tahoe City. Once you’re there visit the Pedal There booth and make your pledge cycle!

Spin to Win:
Everyone who turns in a Pedal There Commitment Card will be entered into weekly raffles for great cycling prizes.
Pick up a commitment card at the Tahoe City Farmer’s Market at Commons Beach on Thursdays, at participating retailers (Dave’s Ski & Board Shop and Alpenglow Sports) or online.
And, be sure to order a bike rike with bike locks from your local bike shop.
