Bicycle/Pedestrian Connectivity Plan Survey due Nov 1

Gary Bell Sierra Ski and Cycle Works High RollerSouth Lake Tahoe Community members recently attended a workshop to help identify opportunities to create safer, more walkable and bikeable routes around the South Tahoe Middle School (STMS), Bijou Park and Lake Tahoe Community College.

Everyone loves to ride bikes like Gary Bell, owner Sierra Ski and Cycle Works, on his high roller.

The Planning Phase of the project is funded by an “On Our Way” grant from the Tahoe Regional Planning Organization (TRPA). TRPA, Lake Tahoe Unified School District, Lake Tahoe Sustainability Collaborative, and the City of South Lake Tahoe are conducting public outreach opportunities for community members, parents and students to provide input.
