Ride your bike around the lake with lots of your friends.
Yes, you can, at the America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride on June 2, 2013. Or, if you missed out in June, Curtis holds the Tour de Tahoe in September.
AMBBR is not just about the ride. It’s about the food, sag support, camaraderie and helping to support bicycling around Lake Tahoe.
America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride

Starts in South Shore
3 options for 3 abilities:
- 72 miles around the lake
- The boat cruise/35-mile fun ride
- 100 mile century into Truckee
AMBBR is also the culmination of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Team In Training spring fund raising program. To learn more about the event, click here.
Registration is closed. But – you MAY have a chance to get in. There may be a few spots open for same day registration based on no shows. This will be the only opportunity, with no guarantees, and will take place on the morning of the ride, June 3, at the Start Finish located at the Horizon Casino parking lot C, from 7:00 – 7:30 am, based on no show space availability. Late fees will apply and you will not be guaranteed a goodie-bag or t-shirt. We do not keep a seller or waiting list and will not have any idea of space availability until after May 25, 2012.
There may also be space available to participate in the Boat Cruise / 35-mile ride option and space for non-bike guest to also participate on the Boat Cruise. Please email: email@example.com for more information on this ride option.
We ask please that you do not ride unregistered as the roadways are narrow, and by doing so jeopardizes the safety and future of the ride and may open you up to personal liability as only registered riders are covered under our ride insurance policy. Unregistered bicyclists will not be allowed on the closed road course.
Curtis will also produce Tour de Tahoe on Sept 9, 2012, and this will be another opportunity to ride around the Lake.
