The 2nd annual Tahoe GreenFEST with 60 exhibitors promotes green living practices will take place July 10-11, 2010 at Kings Beach.
Celebrate sustainable living with live music, local and organic foods, beer and wine tasting, and activities for the whole family.
Sponsored by SiGBA (Sierra Green Building Association), GreenFEST is a carbon-neutral event promoting local businesses, green products and services. Learn more about the newest technologies affecting our world, innovative methods of efficiency, and ways we can conserve and protect our planet. GreenFEST will feature local green businesses who will share how they are doing their part to protect the environment.
A Sustainability Conference will take place Sunday, July 11, with local experts discussing international and regional concerns and the importance of community gardens. GreenFest is powered by Bently Biofuels using fuel produced by locally recycled cooking oil.

I am a local Jewelry designer and art promoter. My jewelry line is made of recycled components. My company, Bella Petunia, puts together monthly art show that features 2-5 local and semi local artists as well a benefits different local charities. The last show raised funds for the Humane Society & I am currently putting together a show that will benefit the Boys and Girls club.I am also affiliated with many local businesses that practice green, including chiropractors, massage therapists, reiki masters and organic caterers.
