Please join Rose on Wednesday, December 12th from 6pm to 8pm for a hands on presentation to create a more sustainable holiday.  The interactive presentation will cover a variety of topics related to how to, and why we can make a positive impact on our local communities.
This event will cover definitions related to sustainability, how conventional consumerism impacts people, economies and communities, how to “Green” our holidays, travel, resourcing and more.
As the greatest consumers on Earth, Americans are responsible for a variety of environmental, social, and economic problems, and our Green Holidays will present information and resources to help lower overall impacts of consumerism.
This event is open to the public and is open to parents, school boards/staff, business members, interested community members.
When:  Wednesday, December 12, 2012:   6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Where:  Lake Tahoe Community College (Library Building)
