REuse Water. Toilet/Sink combo and other Green Ingenuity

Someone has added a sink to the top of his toilet allowing the use of the clean water before it goes into the bowl.

If you think that’s a great idea, what about the Cash Register Receipt Wallet?

These ingenious (?) eco-friendly tips are listed on the Instructables website: http://www.instructables.com.

The site is definitely worth a visit for everyone dedicated to the art of recycling. Or, those of you with a lot of free time.

The Toilet/Sink combo is designed to minimize water consumption and uses recycled parts. I guess Japan has already done this, but why can’t it work in Tahoe or anywhere? Click here for the steps, and be sure to watch the video in step 8.

I’ve seen recycled bike tube wallets in Tahoe, but not cash register receipt wallets. Yet.

This inventor claims that the Cash Register Receipt Wallet will remind you to mend your consumery ways (or remind you of all the money you’ve spent.)
