It’s a no brainer. Support local schools and save money at our finest North Shore restaurants starting Sept 1, 2016. Dine for 50% off at 45 North Tahoe and Truckee restaurants and help raise money to support Tahoe Truckee schools when you purchase a Tahoe Truckee Excellence in Education Foundation Dining for Schools Card.
The Dining for Schools Card costs $50 and entitles the bearer to 50% off any individual dinner entree at each participating restaurant in the Truckee and North Tahoe area. The card is non-transferable but may be used an unlimited number of times at any participating restaurant during the valid period. Cards are valid Sunday through Thursday only, (holidays excluded) Sunday, September 25 through Thursday, December 15, 2016 and Sunday, April 16 through Thursday, June 15, 2017. Several restaurants offer an extended period from Sunday, January 8 through Thursday, April 6, 2017.
Participating restaurants include: Bar of America, Blue Agave, Caliente, Cottonwood, Christy Hill, Dining Room at Sugar Bowl, Fifty-Fifty Brewing Co., Fireside Pizza, Gar Woods Grill & Pier on the Lake, Graham’s at Squaw Valley, Jake’s on the Lake, Jason’s Beachside Grille, JAX at the Tracks, Las Panchitas, Maki Ali, Mamasake, Manzanita at the Ritz-Carlton, Mikuni Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Moody’s Bistro Bar and Beats, Pizza on the Hill, PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing, PlumpJack Café, Restaurant Trokay, River Grill, River Ranch, Rocker@Squaw, Rosie’s Café, Rubicon Pizza, Sandy’s Pub at Squaw Creek, Summit Restaurant at Soda Springs, Sunnyside, Six Peaks Grille at Squaw Creek, Tavern 6330’, TC’s Pub, The Soule Domain, Twenty-Two Bistro & Bar, The Lodge at Tahoe Donner, Village Pizzeria, West Shore Café, Wolfdale’s and Zano’s.
The cards go on sale at Safeway (Truckee & Kings Beach), Save Mart (Truckee & Tahoe City), Mountain Hardware and Sports (Truckee), The Store (Tahoe City) and online at www.ExinEd.org beginning September 1.
