Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.

‘Tis the season to be jolly and to find locally made products and art at the Valhalla Holiday Faire,
Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la.

It’s been a local holiday tradition for over a decade at South Lake Tahoe’s cultural hub, the Tallac Historic site.   Free shuttle rides too Nov 19 and 20.

Kick off the holiday season with two days of merriment and do your Christmas shopping locally at the 16th annual Valhalla Holiday Faire, Nov. 19 and 20 at the Grand Hall at the historic Tahoe Tallac site.

Twenty-three local vendors and artists—including nine new to the Faire—will offer handmade and other special items for purchase at this festive event. The Grand Hall will be decked out in Christmas finery, featuring a spectacular tree and a toasty fire in the showcase hearth. Father Christmas will hold court in Santa’s Village both days, and local school choirs and other musicians will perform throughout the weekend. Fabulous raffle prizes will be available, as well as hot cocoa, cider, and mulled wine, cookies, chili, and clam chowder.

Bring the family, an appetite, and a Christmas shopping list! The event is free and open to the public. Free shuttle transportation will be provided from the main Valhalla entrance just past Camp Richardson on Highway 89 from the Y at the intersection of Hwys 89 and 50. The Holiday Faire is open 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 4 pm Sunday.

Proceeds from the event are directed to the Tahoe Tallac Association’s ongoing historic restoration at the Valhalla Estate.
