Take the plunge March 17 to benefit Special Olympics Tahoe

If you’ve always wanted to jump in the lake during the winter, here’s your chance.

Don’t miss the Polar Bear Plunge on Saturday, March 17th at Zephyr Cove Resort in South Shore.

And it’s for a great cause.

Each swimmer/jumper/plunger (what would you call yourself besides generous and crazy?), must bring $100 in donations before you get to jump in the LAKE. And, each plunger gets a free t-shirt (dry we hope).

The money helps to fund year-round training for the Special Olympics Team Tahoe athletes.

Before the big plunge, there will be a Costume Contest for best Polar Bear Outfit and live music, hot coffee and pastries. Yes!

  • Where: Zephyr Cove Resort, South Lake Tahoe
  • When: Saturday, March 17
  • Time: 11 am registration
  • What: Polar Plunge Costume Contest, live music, pastries and hot coffee + The Plunge @ NOON
