It’s flower season. Watch your step!
To show off nature’s handiwork, our local gardeners will host the annual Tahoe in Bloom Garden Tour in South Lake Tahoe on Saturday, July 25, 2015 hosted by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe.
Here’s one of my favorite paintings by Bonita Paulis, Tallac Summer, which was raffled off last year to raise funds for the Museum.
The annual garden tour in South Lake Tahoe, once an annual event for the Lake Tahoe Historical Society, is now being hosted by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Lake Tahoe.
The Garden Tour will feature gardens throughout South Lake Tahoe from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Only 200 tickets will be sold and they expect to be sold out within a few days. The tickets are $20 each and were available at Saturday’s plant sale at Lake Tahoe Community College. For those that missed it, tickets can be purchased at Nel’s Garden Center, Aspen Hollow Garden Center, Tahoe Outdoor Living and Sunbasin.
