On Monday August 13, 2012 at the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre in South Lake Tahoe, Jesse Kalin will take center stage performing his original music in an intimate concert setting. With over 20 original songs written, Jesse will share material that has not been heard before.
“After many years of performing cover songs and singing my heart out, I’ve decided to put together a concert of my original songs. That’s right, all original songs!” Kalin says. “During this show, I will be able to share what I’ve been writing. This will allow everyone to really take in the music and enjoy the evening in a wonderful setting.”
Jesse Kalin has been pursuing and perfecting his first love: music. Jesse’s original band, Moon Dogs, traveled extensively across the United States in the early 90’s opening for such artists as Peter Frampton, Chicago and REO Speedwagon. His band Cool Black Kettle, which he formed in the late 90’s released the CD ‘Move On’ in 2002, are performing weekly this summer at Harvey’s Tahoe Live Stage and The Beacon Restaurant. His radio show, “Jesse Kalin’s Hot Picks and Hot Licks” has been airing daily on KTHO 96.1FM/590AM showcasing the local entertainment calendar.
