Talk about keeping it real. The 63rd annual Highway 50 Wagon Train rides through South Lake Tahoe Saturday and Sunday, June 1 and 2, 2013.
Sunday they’re riding from Zephyr Cove, Nevada to Amacker Ranch in Meyers (a South Lake Tahoe hamlet), California.
Would you like to ride in a wagon?
Here’s how to qualify.
- Any experienced rider who owns a horse or borrows one.
- Any experienced teamster with a Team and Wagon or Buggy (must be an authentic replica – no rubber tires or plastic.)
- Anyone wishing to ride in a wagon as a passenger and willing to dress in period attire.
