Band of the Golden West webTo close the 2014 Valhalla Arts, Music and Theatre Festival summer season, organizers are offering a FREE concert featuring the United States Air Force woodwinds band the Golden West Winds from Travis Air Force Base on Monday, August 18 at 7:30 pm at the Boathouse Theatre.

This group of highly trained musicians has delighted numerous concert audiences throughout the western United States.

The versatile Golden West Winds perform a varied assortment of exciting chamber music, ranging from the works of baroque masters to the ragtimes of Scott Joplin — music that is ideal for all audiences. As a way to say thank you for the wonderful support of our patrons and the community and to acknowledge the tremendous sacrifice of our citizens who serve in the armed forces, this concert will be FREE. No reservations needed, but arrive arly. This is a first come first served event.

Valhalla is located at the Tallac Historic Site located two miles past the intersection of Highways 50 and 89 next door to Camp Richardson.
