Free Snowshoe Hike at Van Sickle State Park Feb 2

Join the Tahoe Rim Trail and Explore Tahoe in South Lake Tahoe for a free 3-mile moderate, snowshoe hike through the new Van Sickle Bi-State Park on Saturday, February 2nd from 10am-1pm.

Meet at the Heavenly Village Parking Garage at 10am.   You must bring your own snowshoes.  Don’t have any, head to Sierra Ski and Cycle Works.  Gary will you set you up right.

Be sure to dress appropriately and bring plenty of water and food for the three hour tour.

Explore Tahoe – An Urban Trailhead is a Visitor Center featuring informal presentations and interactive exhibits about the geology, wildlife, and cultural heritage of Lake Tahoe, as well as outdoor recreational and cultural activities available in South Lake Tahoe.


Located in the transportation hub at the Heavenly Village, Explore Tahoe staff can help plan excursions throughout south shore utilizing mass transit to help reduce emissions and protect Lake Tahoe’s natural resources.
