As Buddha taught over two and a half thousand years ago, there are many benefits to following a vegetarian lifestyle – for humans and other beings. Today, the Buddha’s words are as powerful as ever. Even modern science is starting to validate this profound teaching.

Venerable Geshe Thupten Phelgye, a Buddhist monk, will be speaking about this philosophy during his presentation of the “Compassionate Lifestyle For Healthy Living” at the Blue Angel Cafe on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 7pm.

Geshe is a parliament member of the Tibetan government-in-exile, a medical teacher, a freedom fighter and a dedicated activist for animal rights and vegetarianism. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear Geshela’s amazing story, teachings and how we can all find more happiness and health by living with a more compassionate lifestyle.
