Skiers and snowboarders will unite to throw down on a custom slopestyle course in memory of Sierra Freestyle Skier, Greg Smith, and to spread Seatbelt Safety Awareness at Sierra-at-Tahoe.
Come out and enjoy the fun. Competitions, a big BBQ, music and lots of great raffle prizes will take place at Sierra on April 11, 2015.
The California Highway Patrol will be onsite to share Seatbelt Safety Awareness. All proceeds go towards the Sierra Education Foundation and towards building a signature feature for Greg.
Registration takes place in the Aspen Cafè at 7:15 a.m. Practice starts at 8:30 a.m. and the competition/rider’s meeting begins at 10:30 a.m.
The 45 minute jams are judged on creativity and style:
- 10:45 a.m – 11:30 a.m. – 15 & under Snowboard/Ski Jam
- 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. – 16 & over Snowboard/Ski Jam
- 12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Women Snowboard/Ski Jam
- 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. – Open Snowboard Jam
- 1:45 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – Open Ski Jam
- 2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Rail Jam
Awards and safety demonstration to follow the event.
Registration for amateur divisions is $15 and $25 for open divisions. All competitors must have a season pass/ lift ticket. Discount competitor tickets will be available for $40, spectator tickets for $56. Join us for this signature event as we say sayonara to the season!
