Bona Fide Books in Meyers will hold a reception for award-winning pastel artist Bonita Paulis and her exhibit, Wild Western Landscapes on Friday, June 1st from 6pm to 8pm.
The reception is free and open to the public at this cultural hotbed behind Meyers Downtown Cafe. Meet Bonita and see what new place she’s been out en plein air.
Bonita has been living in the Lake Tahoe region for 26 years now and sees no end to the inspiration for painting this area has to offer.
Nothing gives her more joy than to hike and explore and paint this wild western landscape. Bonita is a member of the Tahoe Art League, Pastel Society of the West Coast (regional representative) and a signature member of the Sierra Pastel Society. She has paintings of many areas, from the High Sierra to the California Coast and the Desert Southwest, and her work is in collections here and in many international locations.
You can view her work at Lone Tree Gallery, 1598 Esmeralda in Minden Nevada, and at Hanifin’s Art & Antiques 210 N. Carson Street Carson City, Nevada and be sure to visit her website 24/7 at www.BonitaPaulis.com.
