Learn how to create a sustainable native landscape, and lots of gardening topics from fire-wise landscaping to attracting wildlife to working with compost presented by local experts at the free Green Thumb Wednesdays this summer at the Lake Tahoe Community College Demonstration Garden in South Lake Tahoe.

The free conservation gardening demonstrations are held from 5:30-6:45 pm each week, and are sponsored by the Tahoe Resource Conservation District.

All of the speakers volunteer their time and expertise, and the Tahoe RCD thanks them with a gift — a Tahoe native plant.  Of course! Walk the talk.
