Skip the gym. Head to the Annual TeleGrass Festival at Sierra-at-Tahoe on April 5th for a day of thigh pumping, and bun burning.
Experience Tahoe’s tele-culture with clinics, Bluegrass music, races, equipment demos, raffle prizes and seasonal brews at Tahoe’s biggest telemark event.
And remember: Drop knees not bombs. Free your heel and your mind will follow.
In the morning and afternoon, Telemark clinics will be offered to registered guests. Tune up your free heeling skills in a variety of clinics including beginner, intermediate, expert, women’s, steeps, bumps, and more. Each clinic is led by a certified PSIA instructor. You can register for the telemark clinics for only $85 at the Telemark Center next to Grandview Express from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Clinics are 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. each day.
Discounted lift tickets are available for clinic participants for just $25. Clap your hands and stomp your heels to live Bluegrass music as a part of the Live At Grandview Music Series! Hot Buttered Rum and The Creak will perform from 2:00 – 5:30 p.m. in The Plaza.
