Martin-HollayIf you saw his presentation about the art of glove making last May, you don’t want to miss Martin Hollay at the South Lake Tahoe Museum on March 9, 2013.

Martin will share his tales of learning to ski in Budapest on barrel staves with broom stick poles, joining the Norwegian Ski Club from Los Angeles, his involvement with the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley, a lifetime friendship with Olympian Alpine ski racer Stein Eriksen, and finally, his illustrious career at Heavenly Ski Resort. At a robust age of 92, if you’re lucky, you just might meet Martin swooshing past you on the slopes of Heavenly Ski Resort.
