100% of the proceeds from the AirFair & Family Festival benefit programs and projects for Truckee/North Tahoe youth. The inaugural 2012 event raised over $50,000 for local youth scholarships, sports, arts programs; camps and much more. Three local non-profit organizations, along with our sponsors, make the event happen! They are the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1073, KidZone Museum and the Truckee Optimist Club. The Truckee Tahoe Airport District pays for all the operational costs.
