In 1990, the beautiful Coldstream Valley near Donner Lake was about to be lost to logging. A small group of passionate hikers founded the Truckee Donner Land Trust, and raised $150,000 to purchase 160 acres in the valley. You can help raise money for the Land Trust on June 11, 2015 at the River Ranch Restaurant from 5:30 to 9PM.
The River Ranch will donate a percent of your total food bill to the Land Trust with their generous “Dining for the Community” program.
Make reservations at River Ranch for June 11th and enjoy dinner at one of the area’s most popular and scenic restaurants. This North Lake Tahoe event is a wonderful opportunity to help the Land Trust celebrate more than 20 years of conservation over a great meal with friends and family. Please make your reservations at least a day in advance, and be sure to tell the River Ranch that you are dining for the Truckee Donner Land Trust.

About the Truckee Donner Land Trust:
In 1990, the beautiful Coldstream Valley near Donner Lake was about to be lost to logging. A small group of passionate hikers founded the Truckee Donner Land Trust, and raised $150,000 to purchase 160 acres in the valley.
In the past 20 years, The Truckee Donner Land Trust has protected 22,000 acres, ensuring continued recreational access and protecting lands for future generations. We are determined to protect another 24,500 acres in the coming years with a value of over $70 million.
Today, the mountains, canyons, meadows, lakes and rivers that make the Truckee Donner region a great place to live, work, and play continues to face threats from unwise growth and development spilling over onto our treasured natural areas.
