Growing Edible Plants in your Mountain Garden will take place at The Villager Nursery in Truckee on Wednesday, May 16, starting at 5:30pm.
Growing vegetables is a little challenging in this climate, but the trained and experienced botanists, landscapers and garden professionals from The Villager Nursery in Truckee will teach us how at this free and informative class. As they put it – “Before you experiment, learn from the trials and errors of others. We have years of personal and vicarious mountain gardening experiences to share and we’ve killed thousands of plants in our own gardens already. ”
How to produce food in a mountain climate with no frost-free days will be covered at this free workshop. Walk away from the class with tips, techniques and ideas for successful cold-climate vegetable and berry production.
