Tahoe Donner’s Summer Concert on the Green continues to bring fantastic performing artists to Truckee to entertain concert goers in a beautiful outdoor setting at Tahoe Donner’s driving range. True to the roots of Zydeco, Dwayne and his band of talented players create a sound and energy that will astound the audience. Zydeco music has its origins in Southern Louisiana and blends Cajun sounds with blues and rhythm-and-blues. The band features a washboard player, a saxophonist, two guitarists, a drummer and of course the accordionist and singer Dwayne (Dopsie) Rubin. Dwayne is a gifted player who was named “America’s Hottest Accordionist” in an American Accordionists’ Association contest.

Jelly Bread is a Reno band currently making waves on the local circuit. Having been voted as Best Album and Lake Tahoe Band of the Year in 2012, the band is now gaining a growing reputation with their eclectic mix of styles that incorporates funk, blues and rock-Americana. Buddy Emmer and his Blues band have been a longtime favorite for the past 15 years on the West Coast and Northern Nevada circuit. They are a versatile party blues band whose musical style includes every form of blues from the 1930s up to modern day blues.
