Brickelltown Christmas This popular haven for local art, local food and culture, is celebrating the holidays in style. Don’t miss the fun at Brickelltown in historic Truckee on Friday, December 18, 2009.

Stop by for a cup of hot cider, cookies, a visit with Santa and his elves, and local art from 4-8pm at the BT shops.

Visit all four shops, get stamped and enjoy a free Ahi Poke sampler appetizer at Trio Wine Bar and Bistro.

For something truly unique, check out the locally made, eco-conscious and fair trade gifts. You’ll find the artisans at Riverside Studios have been busy all year designing shoes, hand bags and belts (Kahlil), and pottery (Alanna).

Lorien has been making her exclusive jewelry designs, and Heather her vintage designer clothes at Drake & Lulu’s Art Shed.
