The wildly popular, fiendishly funny and kid-friendly Captain Thunder is back for another fight against evil!
Watch as the Tahoe Writers Works returns to perform the next chapter of the superhero radio play at the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre on July 22 at 7:30pm.
Suitable for all ages.
Once again Captain Thunder flies the Tahoe skies to defeat evil Nazis who jeopardize All-American freedoms. Tahoe Writers Works performs the fifth Captain Thunder installment of the popular children’s radio-style play.

Bam! Pow! Zap!
Learn the outcome of this gripping tale at the Tallac Historic Site in the acoustical chambers of the historic Valahalla Boathouse Theatre on Thursday, July 22, at 7:30pm. Tickets are only $10 per person (18 to 54), and $5 per person (17 and under, 55 and over, active military and students.)
The historic Tallac Site is a 74-acre setting listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The parking lot is open daily from 11am to 3pm as are the Valhalla Grand Hall and Boathouse Theatre and there is two-hour free parking to tour and/or buy tickets.
The annual Valhalla Arts, Music and Theatre festival is in its 31st season with a summer-long entertainment series including theatrical presentations, an entire series of Classical, Jazz, Celtic, ethnic, and popular music; the return of the Wa She Shu It Deh Native American Festival and Latino Day. Guests to the site will find visual arts exhibits; an artists-in-residence, children’s art workshops, youth theatre camps and a Cultural Arts Store.
