Kids Art Saturday at NTA Jan 23 with Photographer Danielle Hankinson

Photographer Danielle Hankinson will be the Artist in Residence for the Kids Art Saturday on January 23 at North Tahoe Arts from 12-2 pm.

Kids will learn about photography at this free workshop.

Danielle is one of the local photographers in the Winter in the Sierra show currently on display at North Tahoe Arts through February. The January 23rd Kids Art Saturday workshop will cover kids photography. Kids must be at least 8 years old and bring a digital camera to use. Danielle will have the kids take portraits, and share her knowledge of composition and lighting. Then she will download the photos to her laptop and demonstrate simple Photoshop enhancements. The kids will take a CD home with their work.

Kids art Saturday is free and takes place at North Tahoe Arts, 380 North Lake Blvd. Tahoe City from noon to 2pm. For more information, please call 530-581-2787.
