Auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theater Wizard of Oz July 16 at Valhalla

Tahoe Arts Project is pleased to announce the auditions for Missoula Children’s Theater production of The Wizard of OZ on Monday, July 16, on the lawn at Valhalla, Tallac Historic Site, from 10am to noon.

Those auditioning should arrive at 10:00 a.m. and plan to stay the full two hours. Approximately 50 roles are available for children five (must have completed Kindergarten) to seventeen years old. Auditions are free, and no advance preparation is necessary.

If cast, there will be a charge of $50 per child to participate. A limited amount of scholarships are available. Contact Peggy Thompson at 530 542-3632. Rehearsals will be held Tuesday through Thursday, July 17-19, from 10:00-2:30. The performance will be on Friday, July 20, at 5:00 p.m. at the Lake of the Sky Amphitheater at the U.S. Forest Service Taylor Creek Visitor’s Center.
