To mark SnowFest! in true Tahoe fashion, the Lake Tahoe Paddleboard Association is holding a stand up and paddle race on Saturday, March 13. The race starts at 2pm so these hard core athletes can ski first.

South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic July 17-19

The South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic: A Vintage Boat Show for Charity takes place at the Tahoe Keys Marina July 17-18, followed by a parade on Sunday, July 19.

Boat Parade June 21 @ Tahoe Keys
The South Lake Tahoe Yacht Club’s annual boat parade will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Tahoe Keys Marina.
This year’s theme is “It’s a Grand Ole Flag,” and an award for the best decorated boat will be given out so get decked out in plenty of red, white and blue flags.
Cold Water Safety June 5 TYC
All boaters are encouraged to attend this presentation.
Cold Water Safety in Lake Tahoe will be presented by Jerry Gilmore from the USCG Auxiliary on Friday, June 5th at 5pm at the Tahoe Yacht Club.
Suddenly in Command Women’s Sailing Course in IV June 6
“Suddenly in Command”, a class for Lake Tahoe female boaters, will be taught by women for women on June 6 in Incline Village presented by the Coast Guard Station Lake Tahoe.

Undersea Voyager Project seeks Volunteers
The Undersea Voyager Project will be at Lake Tahoe this May to conduct research and to train for its 4-year circumnavigation of the world’s oceans.
Volunteers are needed to be deck hands, assist with dives, provide boats and transportation, and to help with onshore and offshore tasks for this exciting mission.
