FREE Avalanche Beacon Training at Kirkwood March 7
Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.
These statements are often true in the heat of an avalanche rescue op. While avalanches can be avoided by checking conditions at Sierra Avalanche Center, choosing a less risky route, or just baking cookies in your cabin, sometimes the snow hits the fan and you have to deal.
That’s why Kirkwood created Beacon Basin free of charge, and offers free Beacon Clinics the first Sunday every month.
