Earthgym Fitness Class at SNC starts Aug 23
Earthgym is no ordinary Physical Education class. In this class you’ll explore fundamental movement and forms training with the earth elements that naturally generate the flow of exuberance, all outside your door.
It’s called E.A.R.T.H GYM – Exuberant Animal Rhythmic Training Hall – PHEd 180. The class begins Monday, August 23, at Sierra Nevada College at 4pm.

The co-founders of Skate The Lake and seven other skaters will skateboard 72 miles around Lake Tahoe to help save Sarah Pugh, a local girl battling stage 4 breast cancer who needs help.
The two days of skating, camping and saving lives takes place June 28 and 29.

For the month of May, the Tahoe Center for Health and Sports Performance is challenging all of us to meet the goal of 10,000 steps a day. That’s the equivalent of walking roughly five miles and meeting the Surgeon General’s recommendation of 30 minutes or more of moderate-intensity physical activity on all, or most, days of the week.
