Library Books to be Replaced

As a result of the Angora Fire, almost $2,000 worth of South Lake Tahoe Branch library materials were destroyed, many of which were newer books.
Due to the devastating loss that many community members suffered from the fire, we did not request that patrons pay for the replacement of the materials.
We did seek a grant for the replacement of the materials, and when the funding did not come through, a decision was made not to further pursue replacement funding.
We are blessed with library patrons like Melissa Gregory and Kristen Schwartz, and feel honored that they are willing to help out our local library.
