Following the lead of creative folk in countless communities across the country, a group of Incline Village artists have organized the first annual Incline Artists Studio Tour August 6-8, 2o10.
The Tour kicks off Thursday, August 5, with a reception and preview from 5 – 7pm at Artists at Lake Tahoe in Incline Village.
In an effort to gain exposure for their work, Incline Artists are also conducting the tour to provide an educational and entertaining activity for people of all ages.
An open studio tour provides an opportunity for visitors to get an inside look at artists’ creative environments. It is a chance to interact with artists who offer explanations and demonstrations of their materials and art process. Guests see works completed and in-progress, and are able to purchase artwork at the source. This inaugural year of Incline Artists Studio Tour features 15 fine artists who work in a multitude of media.
Incline Artists Studio Tour kicks off Thursday, August 5, with a reception and preview from 5 – 7pm at Artists at Lake Tahoe, located in The Village Center, Southwood Blvd. at Mays, Incline Village.
The self-guided tour follows on Friday, August 6 through Sunday, August 8, from 10 AM until 5 PM. All aspects of the tour are open to the public free of charge, and complimentary maps are available at the reception or online.
