It is no secret that summer in Lake Tahoe brings a spectrum of remarkable experiences. Paired with this bountiful season is the third annual Incline Artists Studio Tour held August 3-6, 2012 with an opening reception on Friday, August 3rd.
This self-guided journey allows you to explore the creative dens of 15 accomplished local artists. While on this adventure, you will have the opportunity to view works in progress and purchase completed treasures at the source.
Meet the artists who, working in a multitude of media, cannot deny the creative energy emitting from this magical place they call home. Please join them for an intoxicating art experience.
Primarily an invitation to explore the magical places where art is made, the Studio Tour is a free, self-guided art adventure which provides an educational and entertaining activity for people of all ages.
While the Incline Artists Studio Tour offers an opportunity to get inside artists’ creative environments, it also is a chance to interact with artists who offer explanations and demonstrations of their materials and art process. Guests see works completed and in progress, and are able to purchase artwork at the source. Whether you are an avid collector, curious about fine art, or are an emerging artist, this is an incredible opportunity to meet 18 accomplished fine artists at 15 different studios.
Incline Artists Studio Tour kicks off Friday, August 3rd, with an artists reception and preview party from 5 to 8 p.m.
In addition to the artists and samples of the work, there will be live music, an amazing raffle, appetizers and aperitifs. The self-guided tour follows on Saturday, Aug. 4th from 10:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday, Aug. 5th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
