Here’s your chance to unleash your creativity and let your imagination run wild.
North Tahoe Arts invites you to submit art for its March show featuring “Art on the Wild Side” like these animated clay works by Dayna Galletti.
Submissions due February 9th.
North Tahoe Arts is looking for wild ideas, wildlife, wild places, wildflowers, wild people, wild encounters… Refined or raw. Civilized or untamed.
You get the picture.
Open to all fine art media, including painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, functional art and craft. The jury may consider other media, such as poetry and music, so let North Tahoe Arts know if you have ideas!
Submission Deadline: February 9, 2009
The “Art on the Wild Side” juried art exhibit will run March 4 to March 29, 2009, with an opening reception held March 6, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Artwork can be two or three-dimensional
- Artwork must be framed and ready to hang, or balanced to stand
- Artwork must be original, current, and done by the artist
- Application fee is $15; Participation fee is an additional $25
- Jury will need three 4×6″ photos of artwork or a CD and corresponding inventory sheet with prices, medium, and dimensions.
- The commission schedule will be 70% to the artist and 30% to NTA
- Participants will be asked to volunteer to help with the show
