Meet Bruce Rettig, member of the LT Writing Club and owner of Charter Advertising, and now novelist.
An award-winning writer who has been published in a variety of literary publications, Bruce just finished his first novel. While Bruce isn’t disclosing details yet, the novel is set in South Shore and weaves the story of the Washoe and their spiritual beliefs in influencing the lead character’s choices that will have a profound effect on himself, his community and his loved ones.
Keep posted for its release date.
Bruce’s deep passion and respect for the Washoe is captured in his tireless work with the Nevada Indian Territory, Nevada Indian Commission and the preservation of the Stewart Indian Museum located in Carson City.
Bruce has lived in South Shore for over 20 years and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children skiing, running, hiking, biking … basically exploring his backyard. He says it gives him inspiration and clarity.
