Did you know…Kirkwood has a Cookbook?

Kirkwood is well known for skiing.

And for its local dishes?

You be the judge.

A Taste of Kirkwood is Kirkwood’s Community Cookbook.

In addition to more than 200 delicious recipes, all of which were fully tested, the cookbook offers a glimpse into the rich history in and around Kirkwood and includes photographs, stories and sketches.

If it captures the charm and nostalgia of the Kirkwood Inn, and even a few recipes, then it’s a must have. It would be a great gift too for someone who has visited Kirkwood or for someone you have been bragging about….I mean, sharing your Kirkwood experiences with over the years.

A Taste of Kirkwood is available in the Kirkwood Community Association office, the KCA Red Cliffs Club and the General Store.  Be sure to call them at 209.258.7260 to make sure they still have copies.

We live in a special place. A place so beautiful it nurtures the soul and creative spirit. A place so breathtaking it inspires conservation. A mountain culture that masters the fine art of living. Welcome to this place we call home. Welcome to Lake Tahoe. Meet the local artists, individuals, businesses and events that define our unique mountain culture and embody Tahoe's creative and entrepreneurial spirit.
