Three Generations of Creativity @ SLT Library thru Sept 30

It’s all in the family.

Art that is.

Check out how three generations of women express themselves through art at the South Lake Tahoe Library through September.

Grandmother Darlene obviously passed on her love of art to daughter Donna who then inspired her daughter Caryn.

Together, these three generations of artists have created gourds, pottery and ceramics over the last 50 years!

Come see a South Shore family’s evolution through art.

Three Generations

- Original Gourd Art by Grandmother: Darlene Mittelbach
- Sculpture and Pottery by Daughter: Donna Hughes
- Ceramics by Granddaughter: Caryn Hughes

El Dorado County Library
Rufus Allen Blvd. in South Shore

September 5-30, 2008

Hours: Tues and Wed: 10am to 8pm, and Th/F/Sat: 10am to 5pm

Donna and Caryn Hughes are displaying a gorgeous collection of their sculpture, pottery, and ceramics in the glass cases at the library.

The painted gourds by Donna’s mother, Darlene Mittelbach, reveal a source of inspiration and the continuity of three generations of creativity.
