Local and regional photographers are invited to join the newly established photography group of the Tahoe Art League in South Lake Tahoe.
Besides having fun, you’ll hone your skills with award-winning photographers right in your own backyard. And, what better backdrop than Lake Tahoe?
Photographers of all levels, novice to experienced, are invited to participate in the newest chapter of the Tahoe Art League which is meeting now to define the program.
Photographers will meet monthly to share their photos in order to improve their photographic skills and knowledge. The new group is busy planning a calendar of workshops, demonstrations, guest speakers, field trips and outings, and photographic exhibitions.
“I was completely impressed with the diversity of the group at the first meeting. There are photographers shooting black and white, making platinum prints, some like to shoot people, abstract and architecture, and some that are still shooting film. This is going to be a great group and I, for one, plan to learn a lot from them.” – Jim Stamates, wildlife photographer.
All photographers and devotees of the art, regardless of experience or ability, are encouraged to participate.
