Tahoe Art League Art Expo October 1 & 2 at Horizon Casino Resort

It’s one of the biggest art events of the year showcasing South Lake Tahoe’s remarkable talent. With close to 100 pieces of fine art on display, this is the fine art spectacle of the year.
Join the Tahoe Art League for its annual Art Expo featuring artwork from over 30 local and regional fine artists at the Horizon Casino Resort, October 1 and 2, from noon to 9pm. It’s free and open to the public.
A large raffle featuring distinguished local work including this gorgeous photograph Marsh Reflection by Phil Stevenson will take place on Saturday night at 8pm to help raise money for the Tahoe Art League.
Here’s your chance to mingle with the local artists and discover their inspiration for creating that exquisite piece of art that speaks to you.
This premiere art event in the Sequoia Ballroom showcases Tahoe Art League members at their best. Free to the public, the TAL Art Expo features hundreds of pieces of art including watercolors and oil paintings, photography, pottery, woodwork, sculpture, and jewelry available to purchase.
Live piano jazz by Vince Crudele will be featured during the “Meet the Artists” receptions both evenings from 4pm-8pm, along with refreshments, hand painted wine glasses, prizes and a fine art drawing. The raffle will feature work by artists Bonita Paulis, Dave Russo, Lady Jill Mueller and Phil Stevenson, along with other great prizes, and will take place Saturday night at 8pm.

Raffle tickets for the fine art drawing by artists Bonita Paulis, Dave Russo, Lady Jill Mueller and Phil Stevenson, and other great prizes, at 8pm on Saturday night are $4 each or 3 tickets for $10. Tickets are also available at the Tahoe Art League Art Center located at 3062 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, TAL Showcase Gallery at Ski Run Center and Hwy. 50, and will be sold during the Art Expo.
The Tahoe Art League is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting fine art and art education on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe since 1964.
TAL provides free monthly art demonstrations for the public, art workshops, classes, summer outdoor shows, fine art exhibits, college scholarships and many other activities.
