Art Lessons for Adults & Children with Shelley Hocknell Zentner

Hey kids and adults, now you can learn to draw and paint with local professional artist, Shelley Hocknell Zentner.

Brush up on your skills, refine your technique, or get some help with that masterpiece you’re stuck on with Shelley at her studio, out in the field, or at your favorite spot.

From finger painting to fine art, Shelley is offering private art lessons for adults and children.

Just for Kids:  Shelley will hold drawing and painting classes for local and visiting kids and will bring all the art supplies. Perfect for after school and vacations.

For Adults and Teenagers:

Train with a local pro who can help transform your hobby into fine art. Shelley will help ignite your art career using different media including watercolors, acrylic, oils, pastel, pencil, charcoal, inks, and more.  And she’ll introduce you to her favorite subjects including still Life, human form, portraiture, and landscape.  In the warmer months, guided plein air landscape painting will be available.

Hourly Rates: $30 for kids, $40 for adults

About the Artist:

Shelley H. Zentner is a professional artist, with over 15 years experience. She has exhibited her work in over 40 shows in Britain and America, and has collectors worldwide. An award-winning documentary, High Art, profiling her work is available to view at www.shelleyhocknell.com. Shelley is an adjunct instructor at Lake Tahoe Community College.

    im actually looking for a private art class.
    i should start on my portfolio for transfer next year
    my major is architecture but i currently have weak knowledge and skills on art.
    so id like to get an idea how to prepare portfolio as taking some private lessons.

    My name is Katrine, and I’m from Denmark. I’m going to Sidney 7th June – 27th July 2010, and is thinking about starting at an art-school back home in Denmark. And I would like to ask, if it is possible to get some lessons while I’m in Sydney?

    Hello, I live in Juneau, AK. and will be in Reno for a few days. My daughter is planning on iceskating in S. Lake Tahoe for the day. Is there any chance I could get an hour lesson in oil pastels? The date would be 6/l4/10
