Tahoe Arts and Mountain Culture has released its very own sticker.
For every sticker purchased at $3 each, a portion of the proceeds will go to a local non-profit in Lake Tahoe or Truckee.
These vinyl UV coated stickers are 3-1/4″ by 7-1/2″, created by the same folks that make the Keep Tahoe Blue stickers which don’t peel or fade.
Every four months, Tahoe Arts and Mountain Culture will donate a percentage of the sales, based on volume, to a new local non-profit agency.

About the Arts & Culture Council of Truckee Tahoe (ACCTT):
The mission of ACCTT is to celebrate and promote art as a vital component of daily life for every man, woman and child in the Truckee-Tahoe community. ACCTT began as an advisory group in 2007 to help form a sustainable, well planned theatre that supports performers in our community. This mission evolved into a greater mission to sustain local arts by creating space not only for theatre but for dance, music, visual arts and art education.
In 2009, ACCTT, in partnership with North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, completed a Regional Feasibility Plan that outlines a road map for creating a 30-year vision for supporting and building vibrant arts and culture in the Truckee/North Tahoe region. In support of this Plan, ACCTT recently launched an online event calendar and will soon offer online ticketing to make event purchases easier to market and sell. Additionally, ACCTT is working on a public art strategy to promote local art and culture across the region. Finally, ACCTT is serving as part of the outreach team for planned performing arts venues by ensuring that the artist voice is always included in the planning process. About the Tahoe Arts Project:
The Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) has been bringing professional performing artists to local school children and the community for over 23 years. As a non-profit, bi-state organization it is only funded through donations.
TAP was established in 1987 by a group of parents, professional musicians and teachers who wanted to expose children to professional performing artists. For the past 23 years, TAP’s primary focus has been the production of in-school residencies. TAP’s artists-in-schools programs meet the need for high quality fine arts activities for the region’s children. TAP also produces a public performance series for the enjoyment of our community. TAP’s programs include acclaimed performing artists from various genres and cultures and has been nationally recognized as a role model for other arts-in-education organizations.
TAP reaches over 5,000 students, in grades Kindergarten through 12, within 10 schools in El Dorado, Douglas, and Alpine counties of California and Nevada. The artists whom students meet
through the TAP programs serve as role models that demonstrate the values of self-discipline and the pursuit of excellence. Current research validates TAP’s philosophy that these experiences also help students develop their own creative and problem solving abilities, foster intellectual development and success in all academic areas.

Becky,
As the president of TAL, of course I am thrilled you are offering this additional funding/donation source to a local non-profit! Thank you so much for what you contribute to the development and sustainability of our organizations around the Lake, esp in these very difficult economic times. Your imaginative and wonderful publication, TAMC, is just another example of how great creativity can make a difference!!
Very sincerely,
Robert Schimmel
