There is a problem in the Gray Area, fish are starting to die off. They need your help to figure out why this is happening.
This free Family Science Day, hosted by the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center, is targeted for 4-6th graders. Families with guardians are welcome to come on December 30, 2009.
At the scene of the crime, you will be able to conduct scientific experiments and decide for yourself which one of our suspects is responsible for poisoning our water and wildlife. Through hands-on activities, students will be able to learn about many of the environmental issues facing Lake Tahoe including: Water Clarity, Sediment Run-off, Acide Rain, Wildlife Poplulations, Oil Pollution, Water Pollution, and Environmental Solutions.
